I've heard enough reports of people's saves being corrupted once the SDA mod is uninstalled. - The seated position also has it's respective and unique drinking animations, using what is already provided in the base-game (not requiring animation frameworks like FNIS or Nemesis). After this update, SDA will now be incompatible with other mods that give Serana custom horses/custom horse support, like Convenient Horses (but a patch for that mod will be provided). I mean, why wouldn't Serana, a mage, have more to say about this place? - Fixed inverted dialogue toggles for Serana's "Be Quiet" dialogue. Instead, one minimal messagebox (which shouldn't disrupt roleplay) appears - once you take Serana home to Harkon for the very first time, - Removed old quest commentary lines from old versions of the mod, - Tweaked condition checks for SDA_MQ105 commentary to have it fire off more accurately, - Tweaked condition checks for SDA_MQ106 commentary to have it fire off more accurately. Fixed some redundant code. If she is far behind (beyond hearing/conversation distance) she will be teleported to a spot near the player that they can't see (so sort of like a catchup feature). Serana Dialog Add-On Check Out This Mod Serana is already one of the more life-like NPCs in Skyrim. - One of the SeranaRomance lines in the sixth mini-quest was re-recorded since I initially got Durnehviir confused for Odahviig. - Over 10 new romance conversations (and over 260 new dialogue lines) with Serana over the course, and after the Dawnguard questline. . Context-aware responses to existing dialogue lines: - Commenting on the fact that she and the player are spelunking when the player says: "I love you", "Can I talk to you for a bit? Serana's radiant greets will no longer run while a serious/dramatic quest is running (which Serana has commentary support for). - Fixed a bug with the "Determination" dialogue quest trigger. This should prevent scene overlap from happening. Incorporated Serana Hood Fix by thetrader, with modifications by me. - Coded in some Drinking Buddies content (disabled for now, as it's still very much a WIP), - Disabled old and buggy content from previous SDA versions, - Serana no longer talks to you about marriage anymore (vanilla conversation) if you've already married her. - This bugfix release also incorporates all the fixes of the past hotfix releases (2.8.0.1-2.8.0.2, and some of the code of the hotfix file that was uploaded today), - Fixed seated animations for some Drinking Buddies drinks, - Fixed an issue where Serana would incorrectly refer to you as a female if your character was a male, with one of her radiant romance greets. Serana will still eventually be attracted to the player (should the player have chosen the romance route) but this will be shown more organically and Serana should come off as less horny and/or player-pandering. One of the largest content updates thus far! - Main Quest commentary from Diplomatic Immunity to Elder Knowledge. - Expanded on a vanilla conversation with Serana once she and the player enter Winterhold. - Initial patch release. - Also improved the backend scripts for the Serana Training feature- people were reporting similar issues with said quest. Go to Whiterun to start :) Upon completing the quest, players get a sweet reward, which should be quite useful in gameplay! You can also choose between two name options for it- "Phoenix" and "Nightshade" as decided from a Patreon poll. (you can find the list on my website) All of these names are applicable for hello and goodbye greets, some of them have love greets! This is to make it less intrusive when it first fires, and to have it be friendlier for VR users. IMPORTANT NOTE: For the Diplomatic Immunity quest, Serana is supposed to be force-dismissed after the last dialogue line. - Flower Girls animation support innately added to SDA, without requiring a plugin patch. Too much was cut that some parts of the conversation didn't make any sense. With SDA, a player roleplaying as a chaotic neutral/chaotic good character is kept in mind. Serana should now properly sleep in any inn with a rentable double bed (The Bannered Mare, Winking Skeever, Braidwood Inn, Old Hroldan Inn, Dead Man's Drink, Moorside Inn)! radiant conversation among others). - Radiant quest dialogue for all the bounty quests (BQ01-04). A lot of the underlying code has been overhauled, so I don't recommend you install this particular update on an existing save. She chooses to stick around, and her ending reaction to you has been toned down a bit. Serana's radiant love and drinking buddies forcegreets will no longer occur if she is not following the player. Some good stuff- primarily the fact that you're now able to romance Serana. Serena Dialogue Add-on update Hey everyone! It should now be correct. - (For the ESL Version) Moved forward armor keyword changes (already present in Crimson Blood ESL versions), updated the keywords, dropped the armor rating to the same as the original light armor file, Minor update with small fixes and optimizations, - Tweaked conditions on daily adventuring conversation to increase likehood of the prompt to appear, - Moved "Let's call it a day" dialogue to it's own consolidated branch, as it didn't really make sense for it to be with the more extensive conversations, - Some minor backend tweaks to help make future mod development easier, - Partial implementation of lockpicking commentary (disabled for now). - A Serana Teleport Spell. One of the most expansive updates for SDA to date. The base narrative for the Thieves Guild remains unchanged, in addition to vanilla records not needing to be edited.
