They also talked about Plessy v. Ferguson and separate but equal but from 1896, but they also spoke about Gong Lum v. Rice from 1927, a case involving a challenge to racial segregation. I mean, yeah, everybody agrees that Brown was rightly decided, but deep disagreement about what Brown actually means. So Brown v. Board of Education recently celebrated its 60th anniversary, the civil rights movement pardon me, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 had its 50th anniversary not long ago.
